I used to be (very) appalled when people told me that they had actually been to the cinema and watch a movie alone. I dunno.. My notion was that "Isn't it very embarrassing?". Oh wells, not anymore! I decided that I should breakaway from the awful thought of being labeled as "the friendless boy" and traipsed to the cinema at TM one fine Monday afternoon!

And so the apocalyptic movie, 2012 became the first movie for my virginal experience at the cinema without a friend. Sitting in the theatre alone with random strangers all over me wasn't as intimidating as I thought. Thank god i wasn't placed in between couples who enjoy great amount of PDA. That would have been really awkward!

The movie itself deserved an "Okay", in my opinion. It was after all directed by the same person who helmed Independence Day & The Day After Tomorrow. The special effects left me in awe - massive destruction, powerful earthquakes, gargantuan tsunamis and everything you would expect in a disaster movie. But that's where the excitement stopped. The preposterous plot and the incredulous escapes were way too inane for a blockbuster like that.

I felt really good thou, after surviving the 2 and 1/2 hour. Watching movie alone is actually quite a nice way to spend some "ME" time. Will probably do it more often in future! Yay! (;

Halloween has always been the time of the year I'm looking forward to. Nope! Not because we have parties where people dress themselves up in grotesque costumes. It's because of the onslaught of horror movies opening at the cinemas. Hello Jigsaw!!!

I never get the chance to watch all these movies! Let's just say my friends around me aren't as erm.. lionhearted as I am! Thankfully, I managed to convert my BFF (Best Female Friend) into a sadist --> just like Yours Truly! We've been catching the Saw franchise religiously every year!! Jigsaw must be proud of us!

I just can't fathom why they dubbed it Torture Porn. It's kinda misleading when well, evidently, there's hardly anything that's sexually arousing in there! And the only torturing part is when 'THERE'S NOT ENOUGH GORE!'.

Anyways, the 5th sequel of Saw didn't disappoint us. The opening scene was great! And sorta depicted that women are smarter than men! Helloo.. Bones are indeed heavier than flesh or fats!

Unlike other horror/gore flicks which employ banal tactics to scare or disgust its audience, the people behind Saw churn out the most intricate and ingenious traps for its victims, although evisceration, dismemberment or impalement usually ensued. Oh wells, that's splattergore for you, isn't it?

Oh, there WILL be Saw VII!

As Madonna once remarked, ''What kind of name is Lady Gaga? It sounds like a baby food''.

That is one baby food everybody wants to sink their mouth into!!!!

Who cares if she's (rumoured to be) an hermaphrodite?

Who cares if she has really bizarre fashion sense? (Hello Kermit and granny panties!)

This woman is talented!!

It's gonna be another huge hit from Lady Gaga (Or it is already!??!)
Love the Alexander McQueen's wardrobe too!! The goddess's apparently a huge fan of her too (according to the BFF!). Woohoo!!!
